At #NZreadaloud we want to see students learn to love reading.
#NZreadaloud is a reading experience with a focus on learning through discussion.
Our mission is to create readers who know how to initiate, contribute and participate in critical learning discussions to improve their understanding of a story.

Hi is it too late to sign up or term 1 this year? We teach collaboratively but I run reading workshops would this work in this environment? How do I sign up and hat would be the cost. Thankyou! Any Hurndell

Hey Amy. Not too late to sign up! I don’t close the Google Form till the start of school year:) #NZreadaloud can work in any environment BUT it is worth reading a little about HOW it works best. Some of the posts on this blog will help you understand the pedagogy. The Google Form is on the blog under Year 7/8 tab OR join the FB group as loads of info goes there too. Let me know if I can help any other way:)

Kia ora Kerri, I’ve signed up for the Year 5 & 6 readaloud and haven’t heard anything so far. I’ve bought the book and started preparing but am wondering if my google form entry was received.
